The Soft-Wash Struggle

The kind of power washers we often see are high-pressure, dirt-blasting machines. They exist to literally wipe muck off the face of the earth. That's incredibly effective, but not without risk. For many older houses, the strength of the wash often results in damage to the house itself. Is there a better way?

The Alternative

Tennessee Waterworks doesn't fancy those high-pressure washers. Our preference is something calmer and smoother, yet just as (if not more) effective! Soft washing.

Vinyl. Wood shingles. Asphalt roofs. All those surfaces known to be damaged most easily by high-power washers, and soft washing takes care of them without a bit of harm. Employing the use of biodegradable, environmentally-friendly chemical solutions, it kills algae, mold, and mildew at the root—all without the possibility of chipping, cracking, or stripping the surface.

Where high-pressure power washing uses more water, leaves behind spores, and can damage surfaces, soft washing uses less water, eliminates all contaminates, and keeps your surfaces safe and sound. You'll also end up paying much less, because repeat visits won't be nearly as common (and you won't have to worry about paying to fix up damaged siding or anything).

We'll call it there, because there's no need to be preachy. The results speak for themselves, though. Between high-pressure washing and soft washing, the latter has emerged as triumphant. Better for you, your house, and your vision for the future!
